Student Internships 2019

The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham annual student internship program has started at the Amrita SeRVe villages. Over 120 students and faculty members from the Coimbatore and Amritapuri campuses will be visiting villages for 5-8 days during May and June. The internship organizer, Live-in-Labs®, describes the aim:  “Our students spend a few days in a village to address the problems of the villagers. As part of this program, students interact with the villagers, analyse their problems, and develop low cost solutions for a self-sustainable employment generation.”

Some of the students and faculty visited the villages last year. They come from various departments, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
