Swachhata Hi Seva in the Villages

Inspired by Amma’s message on cleanliness, straight after a nationally televised video conference with the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the launch of the Central Government’s Swachhata Hi Seva, a huge cleanup drive initiative started all across India.

AMMACHI Labs and Amrita CREATE staff along with Amrita SeRVe village coordinators and health workers formed groups of youngsters to organize a cleaning session in every part of the village, inspiring people to join along.

For 18 days from 15th of September to 2nd of October, more than 1000 people committed at least 2 hours for cleaning every day in Amrita SeRVe villages.
